My story: After many years outside the RC hobby, the interest woke up again in the summer of 2004. Now, as earlier, I find the building and repairing of the cars more interesting than actually driving them. The cars I collect is from "my period", meaning the 80's. The oldest are now from the late 1970's. My goal for every car is to make them as new, and restore them back to "as per manual" (the way the manual describes the car to be.) As you will figure out, Tamiya cars are the ones I like. The ones with hard ABS bodies and fine engineering are the best, although many of the Lexan bodied cars are cool too. Take a look in this site, I believe you will find a few things you remember from your "radio active" years during the 80's.
