automatic polishing system? 7 years 7 months ago #40145

I am a lazy man, and I would like to know if it exists an automatic system to polish aloy parts. Especially sand scorcher parts.
I used with my father a vibrant ball with coconut powder to clean up our cartridges but we sold all our material. And cartridges are copper and not aloy. Somebody has a solution?
I forgot the elbow oil   I am lazy

There is no real easy way especially with parts that have intricate details, The only way to ensure you don't have to use your own elbow grease is to have someone else do it for you   I use polishing wheels on a bench grinder B)

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

:y: I know that the alloy needs to be "cold" Too hot and it become black. Wich pasta do you use ? Polishing was my mother's job but she worked with gold silver and other precious metals. I can have the wheele ;) and the motor.

I saw something on YouTube where the guy made a vibrating polisher out of an old orbital sander and a salad bowl. I think the polishing material he used was cat litter!

Home grade Ultrasonic cleaners will clean the parts nicely but not polish, The nicest non hand polish system's I've seen is "vapor blasting & Hydro blasting" The first pic is vapor blasted and the 2nd is hydro B)

Here it is

It wasn't a salad bowl, it was a cake tin!
You will have to overlook the misuse of the various tools.
