On a Job Lot came a pistol transmitter, it's labeled Tamiya TTU-01 and look like the early 90's Tamtech unit, albeit not "thriggerguarded" (as in throttle isn't enclosed with that plastic strip said Tamtech transmitter has) I wonder, from what era it is, and what kind of vehicles it came bundled

It’s extremely difficult to identify this transmitter without an image or perhaps a few images. I don’t think it’d be from the early 90’s though, it can be from the late 90’s as that is when Tamiya really started to become a force in the RC industry. I’m not sure when models it came bundled with but they will probably be electric. We can guess the range by looking at the transmitter though but again, it’ll require some pictures.

I think that the TTU 01 is the transmiter of the XB.
