Been messing around with it after creating a free domain...
Nice indeed! An elaborate control panel and FTP speed seems to quite excellent.
Great solution for whomever wants to make a website for free.

Wow, just got another monitor - 17" and 1280x1024 pixels. How very different the web looks!
The screen's very big but especially the colours look quite different now...
Gonna have to make some adjustments to the sites I made.

OMG, 17" is an _upgrade_? :silly:  The ghost of Ned Ludd is pointing and laughing at the slowness of your uptake of technology. Next you'll be telling us it's a CRT

That only went out the door not too long ago because it went kaput. :-(
If it weren't for my brother, who had this NEC for a tenner, I'd still be using the 15" that was held together with tape.

Odd that it hasn't been on the news.
Heartbleed was all over the place and this one could be quite a bit more severe...

Animated pngs are supposedly dead but jQuery can also offer a way to play the frames sequentially :

ataredo.com/mor...ed-frames/

I've been messing around with playing audio on the web as well.
Conclusion - it's still in infancy! HTML5 audio has been around for a while but it is quite limited.
Luckily most browser support the special Web Audio API these days so all is not lost.

I was fiddling around with Inkscape before but now realise the svg image format is quite compatible with modern web coding. It's pretty great - extremely compressible and scalable (the s in svg) without losing definition.
So I added a button on the page above to switch formats (had to draw 35 individual images).
