The remaining color is white. Luckily no more masking required, but (as usual with white) a huge number of coats are required for decent coverage. I think I ended up on 5 coats...

After first coat:

After last coat:

The observant reader will have noticed that the driver figure has been started on as well. (good use of waiting time between white coats..) I used normal acrylic XF paints for this. First a layer of flat black, then white for the torso.
Then further details (gloves, belts, etc).
Decals has also been started.

The last blue lines: In order to get them reasonable aligned, I test fitted them using masking tape to hold them in place.

The blue lines, and the rest of the decals, came out ok, making the Road Wizard a nice looking racer, in my mind.

And this is the final model:

I hope you enjoyed this build thread. I know I did ;) :cheer:

A quiz for you:
Four of the decals on my Road Wizard are not correct according to manual, which ones? :S
Bonus point if you also can tell me why...

Beats me - as far as I can see the decals are as they should be according to the manual. The only discrepancy I can see in decalling it up according to the manual requires two white Goodyear decals + four black ones - and there are only two black ones on the decal sheet.

The 4 on the front wing :), according to the manual the wing should be White so the decals would be black  :)

You are both very close to the answer.
The four Good Year decals mentioned by JR are in fact missing from the Road Wizard decal sheet, for some reason ??

I don't think the front wing is supposed to be painted white (The Shell decals are white) (although the manual is not clear), but the side decals (Good Year) is supposed to have a white background.

I had to rob some of my other decals to find white Good Years for the wing and large black ones (which are a bit small) for the rear body. :S
