Step 36, closing rear gearbox
Nice little step in the manual, adding the intermediate gear from the top an closing the gearbox. All the parts for chassis no.1: Chassis no. 1 put together Chassis no.2 put together. I had to use one black steel countersunk screw on this chassis, as I ran out of titanium ones... Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

A lot of 850 ball bearings used in this step, particularly when building for two chassis. Parts for chassis 1: complete assembly for chassis 2 and the parts for chassis 1: Both chassis with steering assembly mounted, with tie rods. For chassis no. 2 the only thing left to do before body-work, was to add the wheels and tires.
For chassis no. 2 I decide to use reissue wheels and tires. They look identical to the originals, but cost a lot less. Also, for me new wheels and tires is kind of important, as the entire look depends on it, in my mind.. A reissue wheel sprue can easily be identified by the rectangular hole on the round centre mounding (see red arrow). Originals have a round hole. Chassis no.2 finished!
