STATUS February
2006:
It has been real fun to restore this Cheetah over the last couple of
months (and expensive...). the chassis I got was in very good condition,
and the parts that was there was new :-)
I have added the remaining chassis parts (speed controller, bumper,
underguard, chassis wings and bodyclip), and these are the only used parts
on the car.
The NIB bodyset came from Japan (again) and cost me a small fortune, but
It was worth every penny. Now the car appears like new :-)

Almost new
build, and all parts are there. New wheels
and tires make the car look really good,. |

Imagine
running this car, with these mirrors sticking out. In a matter of seconds
they would be gone for good... |

All these
little plastic bits are hard to find nowadays as all driven cars (like
most are) have backed into something and crushed the tiny plastic bits. |

The front
bumper is one of the hardest single items to locate among all the rare
vintage Tamiya parts. |
