As you can see, Tamiya's Tyrrell 019 Ford is a copy of an original racing car. Harvey Postlewaite designed the Tyrrell 019 which influenced all F1 designers for years to come. This car pioneered the high nose. The car was powered by a Ford Cosworth engine that was underpowered compared to competitors. Jean Alesi, in his debut year in F1, finished second twice in the Phoenix and Monaco Grand Prix. The car still exists, and is raced at various festivals.
