Description
Hi there, new member here. Thanks to your website, decision is finally taken to give my vintage 30yr plus sleeping bodyless 934 chassis its body from my 25yr plus 934 static kit. All weather wheels look gorgeous. Also found in my spare parts stock to my great surprise a NIP NO.13 6v Nicad Battery Holder as well as a perfectly working used 6V Battery... also have a few vintage Sanwa and Acoms radio in perfect condition. Seems like the 934 is begging to get reborn. Few pics for you. Cheers from Beirut. TJ.

The Black Hard Body does not come as a complete body set alone... At least I couldn't find one anywhere. I checked for 2 hours on the net yesterday and all I could come up with was the black sprue with doors and some parts as well as some random white hard plastic parts for the 934 static kit. Nevertheless as I said before, a true Black Hard Body with all its proper plastic fittings is included along with a Lexan body with the new RC Black Porsche release, complete with modern rolling chassis, decals and all, so you can choose wich body to fit, display or play. Will definitely order myself one asap.

Good to know there's also a TamTech hard body. :-)
I could not find it myself... but it seems like a good option for a Black One tribute.

Thanks Lars, I'm considering the options just like when I restore a full-size Porsche, original, replica, mod, etc... After all that's the biggest fun part of our hobby.
Cheers.

I checked, the Tamtech 1/12 Black Porsche comes with both Lexan and Plastic bodies besides a modern chassis, fabric bag and all, at a reasonable price. Think I'll get myself one and use the hard body for my vintage 58001.

Not 100% sure about this but I think they only made the TamTech shell in lexan...

Would sure love to build a Black Porsche replica, except I can't seem to find a spare hard body Tamtech or a complete vintage 934 full bodyset on the net, just some random parts here and there. Would appreciate any links you know of that would help. Also looking for part sprues E,T and U (orange indicators sprue, red stoplights sprue and chrome light rings sprue)for the static 934 I have that's missing them.. Seems they were missing from the brand new kit I picked for my own collection from my hobby shop back in the early 80's.. I only discovered it years later.

This is perfect for restoration! I would go all original with such a great starting point, but a copy Black Porsche would be cool too :-)
