I bought a car and it has no on/off switch!

Can I buy this and will it work in a Tamiya?

How do you turn off the car? unplug battery?

Yes only unplug the battery. That avoid a fail source.

Yes it works. But the switch is not necessary

Note that if you are using a mechanical speed controller the only thing the switch will do is shut off power to the receiver. If the throttle servo gets bumped or moved somehow, you still have power to the motor and the car will take off with no control. Best to disconnect the battery. If you using an electronic speed control, then the switch shuts off everything.

I always disconnect my battery esc or msc. Same if the switch is on the esc, I keep it always on on position. I already had matters with oxyded switches .
