Hitec HS-311 servo 3 years 9 months ago #60597

Hi all

New week, new question.

I just got some hitec servos, but just realised the standard tamiya servo horn will not fit.

Having looked at the tech specs it seems hitec are an odd 24 splines, whereas acoms Carson etc are 23.

So, Is there a standard horn for hitec which is compatible with tamiya?

Or what do I need?

Thanks!

Hobbyking standard servos are also 24 spline.

Looking at the price of the only 24T options on eBay (alloy) it would be cheaper to buy some Hobbyking servos & throw the servos away ;)
They come with 3 varieties of horn + a disc & screws/spacers etc. If it'll get you out of a hole PM me an adress & I can donate you a baggy.

Thanks Jonny

I thought I’d researched them enough, but obviously not!

I have 2 acoms-a17 servos and thought they’d fit using the tamiya horn.

I only count 23 splines on acoms, do all tamiya have acoms horns still?

Have ordered a Carson cs3 now, it’s for my new neo fighter, will that set have a Carson servo horn?

I got 3 for a tenner so may just bin, just seems a waste!
