While waiting for a new ESC, I'm thinking about running in my motor from my Avante 2011... two questions;
1. Do you think that the TEU-104BK will be ok running in this motor? 2. What's the best way to run in this motor? (Not looking for speed, I want longevity and to preserve the motor) |

A basic chinese esc is enough for these 2 motors. The 104bk should be ok.

It was the Acto-Power pink motor (in the photo) that I was trying to run in... I'm waiting for an ESC to be delivered that I will run it with. So was thinking of hooking it up to the EU-104BK that's in my Atante to run it in.

The 104BK is not capable of running the 14T Acto-Power in a buggy, but if you are just running the motor in on a bench it should be fine. Even the Hobbywing 1060 struggles with the Acto-Power. You'll want an 80A ESC or higher for that motor.

I've got a couple ESC's on the way (KO PROPO & Titan Pro TNX-1) so yeah, I just want to run it in on a bench

You don't need an ESC for running in, just connect it to a 1.5 or 3 volts power source.
Some chargers even have a motor run in feature.
