If you specifically want to paint it, I think I'd go with TS-13 Clear

They can make it work with plastic, they just needs to add softner to the paint. My Volvo V40 etc have plastic bumpers that are painted body color, that have softner added so the paint will not come off when the bumpers are flexing. Anyone that paint modern cars should know this. You only need to tell them that the paint is intended to go on plastic bumpers and they should know what to do. And hardbodies like Lunchbox etc, is many times painted with automotive paints. so paint hould work on most plastic matrials, except on Lexan, that needs polycarbonate paint. On several projects I have used automitive paint, like the Beetle project with trailer that was calle Bugbuddy. That was painted with Ford RS Focus lime green paint mixed at a auto paint store into spray cans, main color and clearcoat. But on most hardbodies I have uses TS paint from Tamiya as that is ment to be used on plastic, like plastic kits, hardbodies, styrene etc.
