hi there 
            can some one please advise  have upgraded lunchbox electronic speed controller and brushless motor , being out of the hobby for considerable years getting power to esc and steering works and power to esc can hear it beep and fan is spinning when switched on but no power to motor.
* tried switching off and having full throttle on controller is there a way to calibrate -make of esc is goolrc   or do i need some sort of calibration gadget to sync ?

ESC needs to be plugged into CH.2 on the reciever, not BATT for a start, it won't be getting any signal at the moment

Normal/Reverse switch for the left stick of the TX set to normal?

Constant beeping suggests no signal from the RX, but if it's something else, e.g. 2 shorts & 1 long, or 4 beeps then a gap, etc, etc than that suggests it's some sort of error code, or you're in part of a setup mode ... is the manual any help with translating the beeps?

got an instruction sheet its minimal to be honest nothing regarding beep or number of beeps in troubleshooting its just constantly beeping non-stop .will it need  programming card?

Try putting the throttle trim to the lowest it can go then try the throttle. Also make sure its not plugged in the wrong way round in the RX

Does the steering work when all is pluged and with a chrged batery?

I'd expect it to work out of the box with default options, setup card should only be required if you don't like them.

Low battery voltage is a possibility, what type are you using and how old is it?

I'm still thinking no signal, if you don't have another known good radio set, the cheapest way of identifying if the radio gear is at fault will be a servo tester & 4xAA battery clip.

Hi folks it now works but still issues sorted trim to fullup on ch2 but delayed throttle response now and when sticks pushed up it now goes in reverse and when shifted back goes forward wires to motor are all colour coded do I swap to try and reverse controls correctly?

Yep you need to swap motor wires and reverse ch2 on your transmitter.
