Repair a broken ceramic resistor 5 years 2 months ago #53575

Hi I have a baja Champ that I've been fixing up, it's now all done except for the ceramic resistor which is broken, it has a crack right through the middle.
I've searched for a replacement on eBay but can't find the correct type. It has 3 narrow pins, most seem to have 3 wide pins or even only 2.

Anyway is there a way to fix it back together with some kind of ceramic glue?

Hi,
I'm not sure if there is a way to glue them together again... Maybe if the crack isn't that big and if the internal resistor continuity is still intact you might use it like it is.
Could you please send a picture of the resistor you have?

I remember using Holts Firegum (supposed car exhaust sealant) BITD ... I don't think it worked on resistors or exhausts TBH

Pop a picture on of the resistor if you can mate, I am not promising I have one but I do have a few resistors kicking around in a box and you're welcome to one if I have it.
