After taking time to do some serious happy wife duties, I got time in the shop to work on this Wild One rebuild :) Cleaned the parts and lathed up a front shock tower brace, New screws and wheels (I love having bulk bought various wheels ;) ) I've this roof on until the FAV parts car arrives with the new body



If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Even though I had a 6hr Birthing class today :S I still managed to fit in some rebuild time ;) You may have noticed in the HSII parts I got recently, There was a new bag of BigWig parts :ohmy: I knew I needed the Super Shot shock towers I had installed on this for the HSII build, So I had ordered in some BigWig front arms & baam :cheer: After a strip and a clean, Some new parts :) She's a bute B)

Blimey, is that box art? :blink: Could probably date it by the colours alone ... flouro did have some action in the 60's, then again early/mid 80's ... then again early rave period, then died again for a bit before coming back for a couple of years... and again a couple of seasons ago (?), though I can't tell if designers are being "ironic" or not.
For that nasty pink/green I think you're either looking at an amost accidental, clueless or tragically unhip use in 1989 - or a very knowing, following themainstream use in 1990.

I don't like it - but if you're trying to capture the look of a very specific year - it's bang on :y:

:) :) :) Thankyou for your honesty, It's not box art and even I cringed at first :D It isn't actually fluro, Just Granny Smith green painted by the PO ;) Of course the Pink is and that gives it that 80's Aerobics feel :D







Sometimes the decals can give the base colour a completely different feel ;)

So after buy 3 Vintage FAV parts lots and 1 Wild One lot, I finally have something to show for it :whistle:
