Thanks Al. I hope that the chassis is in a good state.

Flo, worst case scenario will be the front shock mount broken. But an easy fix.
The rest of the chassis is pretty robust apart from scratches to the bottom of the tub.
Can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with it.

I already have a hb in very good state and I would like to build a sand rover.
The transmission pinions are often worn

I love the Sand Rover, it was my first Tamiya back in ‘82 or ‘83.
And it’s the car I bought December ‘15 that has brought me back into Tamiya.
Let me know if you need anything.

Yesterday I recieve the last parts I ordered (all around the world) to get me another new Built Vintage F1 Chassis.

Missing still 2 parts:
SP-1054: Switch set
SP-1085: F1 Bumper set

if someone has these parts (NIP)?

Here is where I am today.

Thanks Al. Before I'll receive it, I need a complete bodyset. With rear body posts.

Hi Flo, the driver sprue and roll cage, including the clips to hold the back of the shell down are easy to get. An original shell is as we know tricky to get at a reasonable price.
I had a go at converting a new shell to look like the original last year and it looks close enough.
Just looking to finish it off. At just over £20 for the shell worth a go.
If you literally just need the 2 black plastic body clips I think I have some spares.

Thanks Al. For the instant I am waiting it to see if I can do something or if it is in too poor state.
