The orange wheels are just about impossible to find (have seen some for $200 on ebay).  The rears are especially, as they were prone to breaking around the hub (i went thru like 3 sets of them), so any used wheels are usually broken or about to break.
I have actually found some wheels that are same style/size, but in white.  From memory they are from the Wild One (not the blockhead version).  Just need to get some matching fluro orange paint.

Front tyres were only used on the SH, so yeh basically none available.  Traxxis make a similar tyre.
Rear tyres were used on a few models, so easier to come by.

Edit to add: I decided it would be nice to use these orange wheels with a nice set of 2.2 Ellipse tires as a "runner" setup. I'll save the original tires for the shelf.

Problem solved on the orange wheels for the Super Hornet . . . I was doing my (now) daily search and scooped up another one that has it's original wheels!

I'll still use the JC Racing wheel & tire setup for running, so win-win!

Now to find some OG decals and figure out what to do with the rest of the second model 

Decals from mciracing.  I know an australian guy who has new rims and tires for the sh. But unsure he want to sale them.

Yep, I've already placed four orders with MCI and he even did something custom for me that I'll show off soon enough - Great guy!

For this Super Hornet I want to keep my eyes peeled for Tamiya decals since it's the only true vintage I own at the moment, even though it's only 30 years old instead of 40, lol. If I get tired of searching and/or waiting for something to pop up, I'll go MCI for sure.

 

I’m a sucker for a Tamiya box, well I am when they aren’t stupidly expensive.
Anyway I managed to get the Holiday Buggy one. At this point in time I find them great storage and if all else fails if I ever sell stuff, it might make some of its money back. We live in hope??
For now it’s got 2 bodies and a load of other parts inside,  3 sets of Sand Rover drivers from when I had a panic and thought they might stop selling them??!!!??
I only ever store parts relevant to the model on the box, so it hopefully stops parts getting forgotten about.

Today I received a set of Tgx sway bars (after being influenced by Flo!) and I got this Stadium blitzer. Turns out it's the original one. Unused body and decals plus a few extras. I will add bearings and a radio.
