Sand Rover body, original.
After the Cheetah, the Sand Rover / Holiday Buggy is the other car I have multiple chassis’s off. This shell is in amazing condition, no scratches, the roll bar hasn’t got any marks on the corners. It’s missing a steering wheel and the steering column is damaged, but I have a few spares of those.

The paint job is really good and I like the colour, but sadly it’s going to have to go.
I think once cleaned up the body should look like new, which is a rare thing. 
I have a lot of time off work on the horizon so I will grab the opportunity to get some painting and body work done on a bunch of my projects. About time !!!!!

Nice one Al, this is one of my favorite vintage bodies as well. The original (obviously).

I don’t think I’ve posted any of my SR / HB restorations. Which is surprising as I only usually get as far as the chassis and I have 5 or 6 of them.
Keep watching, but don’t hold your breath.

The sand rover is awesome. And this blue is one of the best. But unsure on a sand buggy wich should have a flashy color and a big flag on a antenna. 😜

I love the srb rear the rover .

It’s not going on that SRB chassis Flo.
It just happened to be there, it’s another work in progress.
That one will be a Sand Scorcher.

Sure Al. It was just I like the srb. It's one of my best rebuild resto. 

I'm a little ahead of myself, so this is more like, "Look what the Mail man is bringing me real soon!", but was happy to get an email that this shipped:

 

I have been using 3 sports bags to carry all my race day gear to the track, While looking for some time for a proper track hauler bag they seemed to be out of stock and expensive 😦 Thankfully for me another racer has decided to focus on 1/8 racing so offered one only used 4 times for a 3rd of the price 😁 Happy it has a pull out handle and wheels hahaha.
