Have you got some closed shelves for your static models? I don't know where stock mine. I have too many models and dioramas.

Hi again,
I have learned the hard way to keep my models covered up, they don't take being dusted off very well . That is what the Ikea cases are for, they are not sealed but they are better then not having them. I have a friend in my local club that builds armor dioramas and his are always on the same sized base that he has made plastic fitted covers for, keeps them very clean. The armor kits tend to have a lot more small pieces then my car models do I also have a 1/8 Pocher Fiat in the coffee table in the living room. My wife had it made to fit with a glass top for viewing, my brother in law like to make wooden things. maybe I should change it up for a Tamiya R/C of some sort..... From somewhere out in the wilds of central Ontario.
.......you build what you like, I will build what I like........it's all cool...... |

That reminds me of a story a friend of me told about a relative who spend days on detailing static airplane models.
He had them in a glass cabinet in his office to keep them away from the kids. Till one day the new cleaning lady decided they could use some brushing of. |
