Andyaus -
I just cut a TBG frog body out this past weekend, with one more to do. This is my first 1/10'th scale attempt...it's not shelf queen quality, but not an epic fail either. My lines didn't end up very straight. I used a scissors to cut the bulk off, a dremel to trim and in and around the small curved parts, and tried a belt sander to create a straight line around the rear shock line. What is your technique?

The best way is to use a modeling knife. Or a sclapel with a new sword.

What Stingray said but to expand, for straight lines, masking tape to make the line more obvious, 10A scalpel in a decent alloy (e.g. Swann Morton) holder - you don't have to go all the way through, a couple of very light scores & it should snap off clean. Curves, scalpel too if you're feeling confident you can do it in one smooth sweep - TBH more often I use scisssors (small curved ones) to get close to the line & a Dremel with the size of sanding drum depending on the size of the curve. I've also seen fixing wet & dry paper to something round (like the cap off an aersol) for final hand sanding of wheelarches, but haven't tried it.
