Hey man,
Don't belittle your DIY efforts, I am sure that is how all those cool aftermarket parts were started back in the day :y:

Someone had to make the prototype, most likely by hand. Sure today a lot of stuff is designed on the computer then milled out buy a computer controlled machine but most of us don't have that luxury at home. I say make it yourself!!
