Very nice!! Got these recently myself: 2 speed trans for my 1/8 TGX and a Group C spare R91 Nissan Body.

When I ran my tgxs I always wanted the 2 speed gearbox. you should make a topic on this tamiya.

This arrived today. It will be a Toyota Hilux 3 speed when it’s finished.
I posted a picture a while ago of some body shells I’ve had since the 80’s.
One of which was a Hilux ( after market ), but with the truck man top on the back. It was created from the Tamiya original shell.
It seems only right to have it on the correct chassis.
Fingers crossed gear box, rear axle, u brackets for axle, a couple of steering servo saver joints and prop shafts will be here by the end of the week.

I was surprised at how big the chassis is.
Hopefully I can do it justice.

Cheers Flo, it was one of those that looks better in reality. I got lucky.
The servo bracket is in amazing condition.
The top of the radio box has some cracks where 2 of the body mounts go. But that’s the worst bit.

And you have the 2 rare Mickey ears on the radio box.

Yep, the radio box in intact, no bits broken off.
The gear box when it turns up is a total challenge, it’s in bits, my saving grace being it comes from Rob ( Purple ).

I didn’t realise it was you mate, should’ve let me know l, I would have accepted that first offer haha.

I am just selling the cardboard schematics for the gearbox. Here’s a pic but if you need better let me know. Good luck with it, you’ll finish what I didn’t. To be honest I didn’t really try.

I’ve downloaded a manual from the Tamiya101 site, so I hope I’m set.
Someone did a brilliant job of doing a complete gear box rebuild manual. Well I’ll find out.
