Sting. I'm happy you got the stuff in good order.

.. but still, 30k RPM, that is insane. Not just "fast" but downright "lethal power tool -fast". Who needs / wants that sort of spin on the rear wheels on a buggy? When would you apply full gas on such a vehicle?

Lars, interesting. You are a true and pure collector then. But which one is your fav? I can tell you my fav is the 540-J (53689) because I know it will fit the SRB any time, without any preps or mods. Several these 'silver cans' just won't fit straight into my Sand Scorcher due to the wire terminals on the motor sticking out a bit. Not even the Sport Tuned motor fits well. But the 53689 is nice and flush on the back, and sits perfectly.

 I thought the johnson motors had a white endbell.

Collector/builder I would say, as I really enjoy the building most.
My favourite motor... I'm torn between the 02H and the TRF Acto Power. :y:

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate :)

Bought me also the Tamiya Vintage museum book. 32€ straight from Japan in 10 days!
Love looking at the cars and all the "mistakes". Some of them even have tyres with flat spots!

Anyone else get Volume 2 of this book? I am really enjoying it, but I am surprised to find that the Top Force Evolution is missing. They just skip right over 58107 for some reason. I was curious to see what motor they showed in it before I restore mine.
