Received my Wild Willy driver to replace the cowboy on my Hot Rod trail rig.
Cowboy is too heavy sadly due all the epoxy added.

Also received new uprights for my CC01 (50705), so it can be useable again.

I hope everyone is good.

These 2 Cheetah tyres arrived from France today.
They are in better condition than I had thought.
A good wash and a bath in glycerin and they should be as good as new.

I’ll pick out the best 2 from this container full of Cheetah tyres to make a full set.
I was a bit surprised at how many I’d accumulated. Oops !
I’ve got some more somewhere.

I also got these 3 speed gear box parts.
Not complete, but I’ve got another purchase stashed away also incomplete, but between the 2 it will allow me to build a complete gear box. Yay !!

Is that glue on the set of 4 to the bottom right? A la indoor carpet racing? The mind boggles  :)

Hi Jonny,

That's silicon. Yes the PO did in deed race a Cheetah. The front wheels had home made brass bearings on them.
This could well explain why there was no body shell to go with all the chassis parts and tyres I bought. But quite a few torsion bars.
I think in this case the silicon has actually saved the tread. I just know it's going to be a pain to remove it.

Thanks Jonny, that's really helpful. And luckily 5 minutes walk from the office.

Have a good day.
