If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

Dependig on the motor installed, the motor may have to much power for the esc to cope. Or your battery is not up tp task of deliver the power needed for the motor and esc, What motor do you have? |

550 don't tell us much. How many turns do it have? If it's the Traxxas 12t, it is too much for the esc to cope. And those are really bad motors. |

Glad to be able to help Limit on the 1060 esc is 12 turn with 2s or 6cell nimh, or 18 turn with 3s or 9 cell nimh. But as these are only rated at 60amp, that motor turn limit could be less with a powerful steering servo. With upgraded servo, a 19-21ish turn motor should work ok in the long run Never used these myself, but the scale rig people are in love with the 1060 esc. Richard
