Been getting back into the touring car thing lately too. Just bought a very nice NIP 84143 Tom's EVIX Body for the FF03. I love finding the manuals too!!!

Here we have a combination of postal deliveries. So last weekend several listings came up, but combined they would get me pretty much everything to get a chassis together for the Celica lb turbo body shell I managed to get a couple of months ago. So after a hectic bit of eBay activity I managed to scoop everything I needed. Plus one of the sellers came back to me and had a few extra bits. The front Diplos are pretty knackered, but it essentially makes it a roller. The wheels are in good nick, but the fronts have been painted silver and the rears white. It won’t be a loss to cut off the existing foam on the fronts. The rears are in good condition, but the white paint will have to go. The speed controller needs a tidy up but if I’m sure something will turn up where I can get the fuse holder from. The main chassis parts need a really good clean and polish. All the extra bits like the front uprights, servo bracket and rear gear box all looked quite messy in the sellers photos, but when they arrived they looked great. The uprights look almost new. The gear box needs a clean, but nothing too serious and the servo brackets won’t need much work either. The hardest work will be the mechanism deck, lots of servo tape residue and generally messy. A nice bonus was the Countach telephone dial wheels of the original kit. They are in great condition. Cheers Al Attachments: |
