Would thought it was genuine, with the bearings still attached like that?

Hi Jonny, no it was advertised as a repro. And at €40, which is expensive for a bit of plastic, an original would be way more.
I don’t think the plastic is exactly the same either, it feels less flexible. I thought it was interesting how he’d left the bushes on there as well. 10 / 10 for effort. |

It looks very very nice for a moulded part. Moulded it should be a little smaller. These bumpers are relatively soft. If they are the same as the f2 one.

Are you sure that's a repro? It looks very original to me? Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.

Lettering is not so nice with repro parts

Welcome on board
Honestly, that doesn't look too bad - the box & radio gear look clean, the chassis looks ok (although missing servo saver & steering arms), and the motor looks unused - the "Sport Tuned" model is now silver with a sticker I think the main thing you could do to improve how you feel about it is to have a go at the body - a wipe down with baby wipes & a careful clean/polish (there are better options, especially with multi-stage products, but Autoglym "Super Resin polish" will do it all in one hit) on the outside, and inside of the headlamps. Touching up the inside with tamiya PS-11 silver (try Eurocarparts - really - using mask & gloves, spray a little into a throwaway container & touch up with a small brush).

Cheers for the info.
The steering arms and servo saver were in the box, The chassis was filthy dirty but it's now cleaned . Shock refurbished. Rear bearings, fronts on the way as I ordered wrong ones. Only parts missing on chassis was Engine mount plate which I got and fitted about an hour ago. Front wheels are incorrect (hence wrong bearing ordered) these look like they are off Lotus 99T but fit well. In photo body looks ok but it's pretty bad but already starting salvaging it. I like a challenge. lol take care |

Hello, new to the website as well. I am looking to buy (actually waiting for the seller to respond) a TA03R Nissan R390 GT1 in decent state and for a quite good price, the body isn't in the worst of shapes but he only photographed the rear end of the chassis itself, anything i should look out for?
Viva la e po' bom
