I have gotten a package from my Tamiya dealer )
For the 306 resto i have gotten the remaining ball bearings (only the gearbox had bearings on the car, ordered the rest), front tires (the x profile ones, im going to have to order another pair bc my dealer only had a pair left), Primer for the rims i bought, the zakspeed 190e rims (which didnt arrive sadly, im gonna have to order again :/ ), and these, which i really like

The postman just dropped off an organ donor for my first DT-03,
I'm really lucky to put my hands on it through a craigslist for less than retail,
it looks like they are a bit popular and sell out quickly at retailers in France.

Small hint on the DT03: they are far cheaper in Germany or Austria than in France... Not sure why, but it may have a link with the fact that there is still a Tamiya Fighter cup there while in France there is none...

T2M is very expensive in France... Taxes etc . The dt03 is my favorite runner and doesn't need lot of hopups to be serious and efficient. And it shares the gearbox with the dt02.

Two kits arrived at home today, one for my son (Super Storm Dragon)  and one for me (The Hornet). We have a project to participate to a rc cup not far from our location in few months for the fun (the cup is called Savoyarde RC 540 cup, and is open to everyone, as long as the chassis is a Grasshopper or Grasshopper 2, and the motor a 540 silver can): when I discovered it, I talked about it to my son, and I really like the idea, so thought was a way to have a bit of fun with my son, and ordered the kits...

At this stage, it is still indicated as happening first week-end of June (5th & 6th). So we decided to be ready, in the case it is maintained. Worst case, it is cancelled, but I believe this 540 cup is something they do every year, so in the case it is cancelled we will be ready for next...
Still hoping it is going to happen this year...
