Hi Flo, Tamiya we’re great at the packaging.
Absolute quality.

Some more vintage parts turned up today.

The wheel stopper set, which was a daft purchase because I sold one of these earlier this year. I hate re-buying stuff I used to have.

And the F2 steering set up, which I'm planning to use on my Countach 58005 build.
The only difference between the 2 kits is the steering rod.
I found one of these in a previous build, which at first I thought it was home made, until I scoured the catalogues and spotted that they have a bend on one end and is threaded on the other on the F2 kits.

One more part to get hold of and then I will hopefully be able to build a 58005 and 58009.

I'm always amazed at still being able to find vintage parts that must be about 40 years old, which I think is testament to Tamiya's success and parts supply.

Lots of lovely floppy silicone cable from Component-Shop: mostly 14AWG (32A) in various colours for batteries/ESCs/motors, plus smaller gauges for the umbilical on my Hagglund build - 20 AWG (11A) for the 380 motor wires & 28AWG (1.8A) for lighting. :)

Well, kind of, yes, but kind of, no...

The two kits inside are not really for me.... Ok, kind of, as the plan is to get back my hands on my Lunchbox :-D
