Not sure if I will build and run them, might be difficult to become original decals in case they get damaged. :silly:

I've never posted in a "what I got" type thread before, but just this one time... :P
It was my birthday recently, and in the weeks leading up to it I tried to locate a few things I wanted.

A combination of good prices and very good luck resulted in...

Supershot - NIB
Blitzer Beetle - NIB (sealed)
Grasshopper - NIB
Marui Hunter - 75% NIB
Nichimo Lancia Stratos - NIB (some small assembly had taken place)
Rough Rider body set - NIB
Entex California Buggy - NIB (sealed)
Other vintage parts (Super shot speed controls, etc) found at a hobby shop

All are original.
The Lancia is an ultra rare item. Nichimo's first ever R/C model, and it would be among the, if not the, rarest R/C vehicles in this condition that I have ever attempted to find. To finally have it after years of searching, well... :)
Actually I also got a King Cab body set, although I forgot to include that in the pics.

Re: Look what the mailman didn't bring today ! 7 years 5 months ago #10215

That's quite the score! B)

The (small) items I've ordered are taking far too long...
My mailbox (this particular specimen is just an example) looked like this :

Disappointed by Stellamodels. Normally their stuff arrives like clockwork (the main reason for me to order there) but the actual shipping was quite slow and now the parcel seems to be stuck somewhere.

A simple shipment of bearings turned out to be quite the disaster also.
No fault of anybody's there, just unfortunate circumstances.

The only one that surprised me again was Jason's Store...
That was only a matter of days.
