The PM messages are alerted on the front page only. If you have new messages a popup will appear in the top-left corner.
You can access your PMs under the top menu item "Members" and then "Personal messages"

Please, keep language to English only.

Please excuse me Lars. I'll keep it all in English from now on. Also my apologies to all the friends here in TamiyaBase!

Lars, just as it happened with TBer Tamiya Madrid I never receive e-mail notifications for PMs, nor do I see anything popping up on my screen. I just go and check manually the Private Message section to see if I get something. That is why I missed your message a couple of weeks ago. Not sure if this has anything to do with me using Mozilla Firefox?

Have a good week, Lars! :)

Got some more vintage tires done. Oh, and I do have new wheels for them so they won't look so ugly and scuffed as these ;)

I don't know why you don't see the pop-up notification on the Home Page.
When you have an unread PM, this pop-up should appear:

As an alternative, you can press the "Logout" button and that pop-up will show if you have any PMs unread:

About email notifications:
Email notifications are as a default set to off, but you can change the setting for yourself.
From the Members -> Personal Messages menu:

Click on "Settings" on the bottom of page (I know, not easy to spot...)

Then select the type of email notifications you like:

Signature now gets correct formatting if you edit it in your Profile. Use normal BBcode if you want.
www.tamiyabase.com was formatted automatically.

Thanks, Lars! :y:
That was the problem, the settings were marked as "no e-mail notification" so now I've changed it and should work as intended.
It would be good if the friends here would check their settings. {I sent a note to you Florian last night regarding the Porsche on your blog}. :)
