So I’ve been buying up the parts for a Toyota Hilux. Here it is next to my Ford F-350 chassis. But after looking back over some of the amazing builds on here. I knew I wouldn’t be happy with the results. So today I stripped it down so I could replace some of the parts that are a bit rough. And I’m going to clean and polish it to a better standard. I slightly feel like going back to square one, but it’s not been wasted. The tyres have all been treated to a glycerine bath and it really helped them. A lot of the little bits are fine. And I’m going to replace pretty much all of the fasteners.

Nice work but remember it is what finish you are happy with that is important, I like these old mechanical wonders to be clean but not necessarily polished
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem mate

Cheers Andy. It won’t be totally bling. But some parts need a rub down with wet and dry. I just want a nice clean example at the end.
