Interesting. So I can sort of 'close' that needle completely by turning the knob clockwise/ inwards, and also open it by.. aha right! It is a *valve*, ofcourse "needle valve". Hahah.. like in my bathroom. Easy!
Very well, tomorrow I will experiment with the valve settings. Running it "rich" and then the opposite. You're my #1 nitro-coach, Sting!

It is hard to explain in any language. I always had problems getting my nitro cars to run correctly. The symptoms of "too rich" and "too lean" are so similar that I never knew which way to turn the needle valve. I suspect I never really had them running as they should which may help explain why I was not impressed with nitro. There was something special about having a real working mechanical engine and the associated sound it makes, but I was not sorry to see them go when brushless motors became a viable option. |

Like said Tom, the needle is a. Valve. Clockwise, you close the fuel debit. Too rich is that you have too much nitro better lubricated but less power.
