So after putting a Cheetah chassis together at the weekend. It’s given me a little nudge to try to move on some of my other builds. So I had a bit of time in between my daughters after school activities today to do a bit more on my XR311. The chassis has been together for a while. So today I cleaned up a pair of Acoms ASA 227 servos to get some radio gear in the chassis. They aren’t stuck in yet, but steering and speed control servos are there. So I had 2 original msc’s but neither 100% complete. Well they are 40 years old, roughly !? But I think I can get 1 together. I’ll have to improvise the spring to finish it off. The original has a spring from the servo to the Mac, opposite the servo rod. Cheers Al |

For your spring, try a lighter spring. |
