=18pxI tried a new method to save expensive filler=18px. I mixed cheap fine wood filler with acetone and applied it with a brush after sanding=18px. Mostly along the panel lines=18px. Worked pretty well and due to using acetone it bonds very well and also dries pretty fast=18px. Printer runs around the clock and spills out a part every day=18px. 3 more parts to go=18px.

I changed the wood filler thinning to 50/50 windows cleaner-acetone. The filler is more consistent and also the time to work with it is a bit longer. All parts are printed and pre sanded.
Here is a comparism of the Revell model and the 3d printed. The difference in size is huge. (well its amplified by the podest the 3d print is sitting on) Attachments:

Went to my almost local hobby shop this morning, to fetch a kit, and put my Nichimo Spirit FF on display with a few printed parts in a dedicated shelf, with a pdf printed on a side with a QR code to display my Cults3D page...
This hobby shop is really dedicated to vintage RC, and the owner is very happy to show some of my 3D printing work, and I believe this will be an opportunity for any of his customers not having the idea of 3D printing to see by themselves and generate some ideas. He requested me if I can let a printed car in the shop as among his discussions with customers he knows quite a few looking for parts and possibilities to repair their old cars... I buy kits to built and ru(i)n them
