Well, I burnt the midnight oil last night (this morning?) and here's where I am now. I did toy with the idea of a MSC, but then the OG manual got the best of me:
And I was successful getting the Egress front wheels installed with the help of a set of reinforced Wild One steering upright/axles, hex bearing adapters and some shims. Now I just have to decide if I'm gonna trim off the height of the nibs to closer match the OG tires. IG_tamiyaddiction

Final paint on the NSU TT. Couple of small paint fails that aren't to major, so will hopefully be able to hide/fix. Next will be attempting apply all those looooong skinny decals in nice straight lines. Also need to adjust/shim the rear wheels.
And for a bit of side-tracked amusement, I picked up an iconic toy, of an iconic car, from an iconic movie...... Turns out, it's also fairly much a 1:24 scale. So here's two of Nissan legends; (and yes, i've already ordered some blue LED's to add undercar neons to the GT-R) Attachments: |
