Since I bought a cpr 01 unit and want to build it in a 1/12 car I would like to know the minimum operating voltage
According to black hole sub he goes up to 27t I already know that "Tamiya first ESCs were combining the radio receiver: none of them was supplied in any kit box though. The first mention of an electronic speed controller can be found in the manual of kit 58067 Thundershot from 1987. The device was a C.P.R. Unit P-100F capable to handle motors down to 17 turns. Soon after, the C.P.R. Unit P-160F handled motors down to 12 turns. A more economic version called C.P.R. Unit P-80F (motors over 23 turns) was also released before the last device called CPR-01 (27 turns) was supplied with XB models. Reference of this last CPR unit can be found in about every manual of the TT-01 chassis and TL-01 chassis based models. We will discuss further on the question of "turns" when applied to motors and ESCs." |

The rookie rabbit was the first "XB" kit. Sold with radio charger aq and a cpr unit. Very big cpr.
I have no idea about cpr 01 but it should be able to run with a 6v minimum or 4,8v for the trimming. I had a 7,2v stick with the rookie rabbit. |

4,8v is too short. Only to trim or compensate the bec system. I am sure that 6 or 7,2v are better

Rookie Rabbit doesn't have the CPR01 but a P60N. It's amazingly fast with 7.2 and a silvercan. I ran the CPR01 on 6v in F1 cars with a silvercan worked fine.
