Good morning everyone
I was looking at the two SRBs that I have to restore: the FRP plate of Ford F150 is light yellow, and the FRP plate of the Sand Scocher is light green.
Can anyone tell me why?
The light green FRP plate is two mm shorter and has smaller holes than the light yellow one; it seems a Mk1 plate
Is the light yellow FRP plate a historical forgery?
Thanks

I think the yellow plate is Mk1 according to this thread: tamiyabase.com/...ifferences

Thanks for the answer.
I have already read all the discussion and I find out this text:
"FRP chassis plate: earliest mk.1 is regarded as having a "short" front end (looks exactly like someone has taken a millimeter or two off the mk.2 FRP plate), and the servo saver M4 mounting screw holes is also slightly further forward compared to the mk.2"

I am not able to find the answer because the light green plate is shorter than light yellow.

The light green FRP plate, is there a chance that sun light has caused discolouring ??

Sun can be a solution, but today I note that the light yellow plate has 2 servo saver holes and the light green plate has 1 servo saver hole.

Did you think about a home made chassis plate?

I have already see some pictures on web with this yellow chassis, it looks well done and it is not new....it can be original or a strange reliase
but I never heard before of a double holes for servo saver....
