Hello all!
Found this forum looking for Porsche 959 info. Cool website! A little background. I started racing RC cars back around 86....in Alaska. My first car was a Wild One. As I progressed...I upgraded to an RC10, and over time had many different cars. I pretty much sold all my stuff when I moved to WA in 1990. Fast forward to a few years ago...when I got heavily into scale trucks...competed and was building many cages and frames for others. This was before the SCX10 was out. Anyway...I always wanted a Bruiser...so I had built my own in way. I then got outta that, as competing and the politics just wasnt my thing...even though I was "ok". These days....I have began collecting many of the cars I always lusted after when looking through the magazines and Tower Hobbies catalog. Haha. Currently have many a few RC10s, a couple of rare cars, and since I am a Porache guy, a Tamiya Carrera and original but rough 959, which my son found at a swapmeet. We are about to restore it. Which led us here. So enough rambling. Glad to be here! Look forward to browsing around here. |
