Hi Jake,

Welcome. I don't know anything about the Group C stuff but your Benz looks really nice.
Is it going to be a runner and perhaps I could ask what motor you've installed?

been running it to the ground trying to get use to it.

Motor/esc combo is a temporary cheapy unit OCDAY brushless kit from eBay (35$) works fine but will get good stuff later. My Team Associated SC10’s have the higher quality electronics in them so will be upgrading the Tamiya soon.

Thanks for the update, Jake. I was looking at a couple of those budget brushless ESC/motor combo's online but reviews seem very mixed.
How are you finding the general level of performance from your combo and do you get any problems with over heating?

Sam the 60amp with 4300kv (9T) OCDAY brushless set up has been flawless, I have a fan on both the motor and esc and I can kill a battery with no overheating with a 4.6.1 Drive ratio (70 spur 16 pinion).

Trying out a 93 spur and 27 pinion now 3.45.1 Drive ratio little more mild out of the hole but picks up speed quick and still no overheating.

Thanks Jake, that's much appreciated information. I'll look into that combo as I want something budget priced for a spring time basher.
