Hi all. Just signed up today. Have Some Tamiya kits. Currently building a LaFerarri TB-04. Videos on YouTube on the channel by the same name: GreatDogOfTheNorth.
Thinking of putting a brushless setup in the TB04, but I’m wondering if the differential gears will hold up. |

I've got a brushless in my TB-04 and no problems so far. Depends on how hot the motor is and how hard you drive. I'm using a 10.5 turn. If you do burn up some gears it won't be the differential gears, it will be the 20 tooth bevel gear right after the motor |

Thanks guys!
Blackbird thanks for that heads up. Hobby wing has a combo set XA1 with a 3.5t. I plan to run it brushed for a bit and then see how everything is wearing. |

Yeah 3.5t might not be a good idea. Although some have done it.
