I've had that by using different paint systems (synthetic lacquer over acrylic ), apparently it can also happen by putting too much on too quick. I like Hycote acrylic aerosols (look for "grey plastic primer 400ml" , or white plastic, or red oxide plastic depending on what colour top coat you want, plus their 250ml car colours & 400ml van colours). Halfords acrylic based aersols are an obvious choice, they do plastic primer and car colours in 300 an 500ml aerosols. Tamiya's TS- series aerosol paints are "synthetic lacquer" based & come in 100ml cans, they are compatible with their grey "fine surface" and white primers. Basically, don't mix paint types (or even brands tbh) no matter what they say about compatibility.
