1:1 tyre performance comparison ... on a ski slope ... in Japanese. Bit difficult to imagine how the Youtube algorithm comes up with suggestions like this for me  :D

I’ve started watching The Silent Sea on Netflix. Korean, sci fi thriller. We’re 2 episodes in so far, but enjoying it.

Can you disable the English dubbing on Netflix? At best, and being very charitable, I find Netflix voice actors performances to be overdone - a bit like having Jim Carey take on every role -  and it really takes me out of the moment. TBH it's a criticism I'd make of all dubbed films/TV, not just Netflix.

I'd rather have the original soundtrack & English subtitles. If pressed, I'd do without the subtitles - for a lot of European languages anyway. Korean might be taking things a bit to far ;)

Hi Jonny, yes you can. We’re watching it with the Korean audio and subtitles.
I hate dubbed programmes they just never work for me.

I can't remember which network it was, but apparently one US TV station's planning for possible Armageddon during the height of the Cold War included what they'd play out with on their final broadcast: IIRC it was a rather indifferent high school marching band's rendition of "Abide With Me".

I think I'd rather see a parrot sing Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear The Reaper" though:
