Really nice collection Andy, looks like quite a few runners. I'm of that sort as well.

Nice job!

That is an exceedingly hard question to answer because there are so many ;) But I will say the "Bruiser" When I was a Kid in my small home town in New Zealand, The local Ford dealership was also the Tamiya shop run out of there parts Dept. They had a Bruiser om Display and I always remember riding there on my pushbike which was at least and Hour, Just so i could press my nose against the window and look at it ;)

Thankyou :) They are not quite organised yet but yes a fair few runners, For me (apart from a couple of exceptions) these were made to run, Maybe I don't run them like I was a Kid with no care but with some respect for there age hahahahaha.

I can relate to the lack of reckless abandon we had as kids when we would launch them headlong into anything in sight. LOL

I don’t think we’d have actually built them as kids if we knew what they’d be worth now.
Ha, ha, ha !!!

But it wouldn’t have been any fun.

i remember when i first got my hornet it had the stock motor in it lol
my friends had another car i cant remember what it was anyways
i wouldn't go as fast so i had a idea 2 battery packs 9.6v
so i got the battery's then i took off 2aa battery from each pack right
then i joined the 2 bigger packs together lol and it would fit into the car too lol
i then asked my friend to race again yes it did go faster then
it had to have the 4aa battery pack to do this
the first time i tried i fried all the radio gear i cried for weeks lol
i changed the aa battery pack too to the 9v battery worked very well
not sure if all the radio gear work this way lol
