Yey! Have you used it yet?
Yes the Wolf version is a lot better than the others, more rigid & better made. They can also be used for light pressing operations (Keep the workpiece close to the ram/rack though). Have you looked at a small drill vice & a box of assorted drills yet? - the boxed sets of drills 1-13mm in 0.5mm increments are quite handy, but for toy car stuff, I've found my other 2x sets a lot more useful (1-6mm in 0.1mm increments, & 6-13mm in 0.1mm increments), but they are relatively expensive if you're not doing that sort off thing all of the time. A small drill vice should be cheap enough (about 15gbp) & are quite essential at times. You'll love it, I'm sure! - suddenly drilling straight holes &/or holes in difficult materials (eg Stainless) will be so much easier & you'll wonder how you ever managed without it!

Cheers, eddrick. Thanks for the advice!
It just got in so I haven't tried it out yet... Put some WD-40 on it here and there - I don't think it was ever used but it deserved some TLC from being in a shed I think. Definitely gonna look out for a matching vice! |

Yes! Had to wait on it for two months to arrive but I finally have that digital caliper!
Nice heavy quality, I have to say... If it hadn't found it's way here, I would have bought one that Aldi has for sale next week for a tenner. |
