Ohhh how much nicer the old Kyoshos look....
I can't understand why they design so many of the new buggies to look so ugly. Not only Kyosho, of course. The spanking new ZX6 looks to have an interesting chassie, but why on earth did they put the body on "backwards"? Aerodynamics? That is just beyond ugly! Tom |

I have to say I agree. Looks horrible. I can only assume it is something to do with aerodynamics - I've certainly never seen a real car that looks like that!

From what I know about aerodynamics, I cannot see any advantage there.
The front is creating a rather big projected surface (bad for drag) and is leading the flow away from the wing. Maybe someone just thought to make something 'different' (they succeeded there, to say the least). |
