Here are my rare Eidai Grip 1/8 scale RC Martini Porsche RSR and Lamborghini Countach.

The Porsche has a hard plastic body. Same body from the static kit which I once had but got destroyed during my move across town over the years.

The Lamborghini has a vacuum form body make out of some kind of flexible plastic material that is similar but not the same as polycarbonate or lexan. It has two different rear wings. Both car share the same aluminum pan chassis and electronic parts.

Size comparsion with the Tamiya Porsche 934 RSR

Finally got some time to shoot some more pictures.
The two cars came out in the late seventies about the same time as the Tamiya Porsche 934 RSR but in 1/8 scale.
Similar design as the Tamiya with aluminum pan chassis, mechanical speed control and solid rear axle with no differential. Only the rear has spring suspension. The kit comes with a 540 motor but the manual indicated a 550 and 6 D cell battery holder. It can also powered by a Mabuchi Power System which is some kind of ESC. I just replaced mine with 8 C Nicad at that time.
