Hi Sting my friend, how are you doing!

Hmm.. looking at Boomerang arms they seem a bit long still. They keep mentioning TL-01 or M03 parts, which are for rally / regular cars.

I've found some 3D-prints from Max Breedon here.

.. but it's for front only.

Yeahhh fine tom and you?  These arms look similar to standard dt02 but blue.... Maybe shortened  in 3d but m03 and TL arms aren't like in picts.

Well I'm fine, Thanks Sting. Looking forward to retiring ... in 15-20 or so years. Having too much fun on my motorcycles these days, but things seem to calm down as I'm curious about how to make that DT-02 narrower. It has been bugging me ever since I saw the photo of re-re Holiday Buggy.

I really like this chassis.  Very easy to use. And supports big motors.

It is bugging me. I'm looking at the video in #67831 (starting at about 0:20), and I'm thinking the blue arms must be from an already existing kit with a blue chassi. I'm browsing available kits and I found Terra Scorcher (47442). However the arms in the kit seem too long still, the car is 240 mm wide, as is the DT-02, so it couldn't be those arms used in the mod, could it? Is there any other blue chassi by Tamiya with shorter arms?

Then, sorting out the arm problem is only the beginning. Remaining things are what dog bones to use, and wheel hubs. Shocks are secondary as there are plenty of variations and adjustment-parts for that.

Tom, terra scorcher, boomerang thundershot have blue arms. They maybe narrow the front train. If the front "gearbox " is shorter on the dt02 than terra scorcher ( this one is a 4x4). No need of dogbones on the dt02 it's a rwd.

Ok Sting, so you think I can use the Terra Scorcher arms?

I don't know I didn't take measure. I should have some arms. I could see if they fit and if they are shorter.

I will take measurements too, to see what exactly is needed.
