stingray-63 I'm always down for a trade, especially since we're almost neighbor,
let me a couple of weeks, the time to get my hands on a brand new old fish net
and let's talk about it :)

The vulnerable parts on the Frog are where the wing meets the body, where the rear shocks meet the trailing arms, the sides of the gearbox (with hot motors), and the metal antennas make rollover crashes worse.

The front bumper on the other hand, you could slam that full speed into a kerb all day and never break it.  I also suspect that your single point fixing nerf bars will concentrate force and cause damage.

I understand the attraction of Mad Maxificating a car, but adding weight increases inertia, and that energy has to go somewhere.

Reducing speed is the biggest thing you can do to reduce potential damage - end point adjustment on the tx, lower gearing, a physical stop on the tx, higher turn motor, lower voltage battery or some combination. :)

So, I'm leaving the Mad Maxificating ( © @Jonny Retro ) behind,
& now go forward with this frog, started the paint job today,
I'm not good with the small brushes, that's a fact ...but I definitively need a pair of glasses !

I will keep the same colors for the body,  I cut it up and prepared it, ready for the first layers tomorrow.

after painting the driver, I quickly made a paint booth last sunday,
the weather was perfect to do it on the balcony without messing everywhere,

I ended up putting the stickers on at the end of the morning today,

I have to buy myself a new pair of lexan scissors and especially a pair for the curves,
it was a laborious job with the old ones, it just remains to put the electronic
and remove the antennas as well as the side bumpers before its first ride,
so, even if the final result is not as good as the desired finish, I like this "eleventh" Frog :)
but like many of us, i love the build part mostly and start thinking to the next one,
maybe a 2021 Fighting Buggy or a big wheels like a Lunch Box, this one is appealling me since so long.

It looks nice. For your next project, all depends of your budget, your building time and your coup de coeur.
